The fireball mini-comet that impacted the State of Pennsylvania in late July of this year [2001], was seen streaking over Ontario, Canada, before it blasted a cornfield at 6pm in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Micrometeorites have been found in ocean sediments and in high-altitude dust [especially the Tibetan and Mongolian Highlands]. The Earth may acquire more than 100,000 metric tons of meteoric material every year via meteoric cosmic dust that rains down continuously on the Earth, passing through the atmosphere almost unchanged.

In Siberia in 1908 a meteor blew up leaving hundreds of square miles of forest scorched in over a twenty mile swath. The explosion created a blast stronger than 1000 Hiroshima bombs.

A large crater in the Yucatan Penninsula of Mexico was created by a meteor that not so many thousands of years ago destroyed about 70% of the species of life on Earth, and replaced them with new mutants. Still under petulant scientific debate is whether the dinosaurs, mostly all of them vegetarian, were eliminated at this time.

In December, 1998, a giant meteor collided with Greenland at position 62 deg 51 ' North, 47 deg 12 ' West [the exact location is still very controversial] and was reported by civilian Norwegian scientists, but followed up quickly by U.S. military personnel with B-52 pontoon girded airplanes, ... their information still not declassified. The neutron force of this explosion exceeded that of the 1908 Siberian Meteor collision.

Around 4000 B.C., or even earlier, a huge Fiery Meteor Ball slammed into the area today known as Israel, and is known as the Beit Shean. A huge alien orb still stands at this spot, and it is also where both David and Solomon built their temples. If you visit here today, be careful of the giant ant colonies in the vicinity. Nearby is the Ramon Crater, one of the largest on Earth. There are many wasp-hive type mud domes in the area. The nearby Dead Sea is a virtual lake or reservoir of bromine, and not much more, with a heavy concentration of potash. There are monastaries in this region that very closely resemble monastaries in the Crimea and the island of Yalta, in the Black Sea. Check out the caves in both regions, and tell us if you see the striking resemblances, but be cautious in that there are periodic malaria epidemics in both regions!

SUPER COOLED LIQUID WATER -- Water vapour deposited on low-temperature (<140K) is known to form an amorphous phase, termed AMORPHOUS SOLID WATER (ASW), that is metastable with respect to crystalline ice. There is still a debate about whether this amorphous form of water transforms to a metastable liquid above the GLASS TRANSITION temperature at 136K and before crystallization near 160K. Furthermore, if the SUPER COOLED LIQUID WATER does melt into a liquid, a question remains as to whether this liquid is a metastable extension of supercooled liquid water OR A DISTINCT THERMODYNAMIC PHASE.

Region 9393 behind the west limb of the Sun, you might think solar activity would diminish. But by the time Region 9393 had rotated out of view behind the west limb a few days ago, a new and MAGNETICALLY COMPLEX ACTIVE SUNSPOT group had appeared around the east limb of the Sun. Now known as NOAA Region 9415, this sunspot complex is less than half the size of Region 9415 (not yet a naked-eye spot group). It is a fairly RARE TYPE OF SUNSPOT GROUP KNOWN AS A REVERSED POLARITY REGION.

For whatever reason, Region 9415 chose to FORM BACKWARDS to this. That is, Region 9415 has a leader spot that is positive IN POLARITY - i.e. REVERSED from the normal behavior. Kissing the tail of this positive polarity sunspot is a negative polarity sunspot that perhaps is trying to pull in front of the leading sunspot. The only problem is Region 9415's positive polarity spot is in the way and THE COLLISION OF THE OPPOSING MAGNETIC FIELDS IS RESULTING IN EXCEPTIONAL FIREWORKS. The latest fireworks display from Region 9415 occurred with a large coronal mass ejection (the second large CME observed). There are now two coronal mass ejection disturbances HEADED TOWARD THE EARTH. Although they most likely will not impact the Earth head-on, they are expected to at least obliquely impact the Earth. Both disturbances were clocked at estimated peak velocities in excess of 1,000 kilometers per second (3.6 million kilometers per hour or 2.25 million miles per hour) by SOHO scientists. At these velocities, it doesn't take too many hours for the disturbance to reach the Earth from the Sun. In fact, the first disturbance should impact the Earth anytime.

The Earth will be more closely pointed DOWN THE BARREL OF THE 'GUN' at that time. Should the region release another major energetic flare anytime between now and again, the Earth would stand a good chance of observing a "head-on" impact with any associated coronal mass ejections.

The Aldebaran Star (meaning "the follower" in Arabic), on the rim of the northern celestial equator, in which the planets seem to move clockwise, is the eternal companion to Antares in the "Other World," and means "rival of Ares" in Greek. Aldebaran is a red star of the first magnitude that is seen in the Eye of Taurus and is the brightest star in the HY-ades. A 43-GHz SiO survey of IRAS sources has been used to investigate the kinematics in the galactic bulge. The sun's magnetic field rotates out from the sun in the shape of a spiral throughout the solar system. This "Parker Spiral" causes opposite magnetic field directions within itself. A very thin layer between the different magnetic field directions is called a NEUTRAL CURRENT SHEET.
